N2U / TERMS

Terms of Service

Effective and last updated: July 16, 2026

These Terms govern N2U's 16+ social-discovery, event, messaging and game services. N2U provides tools and context; it does not conduct background checks, guarantee identity, guarantee another person's conduct, or replace emergency services.

1. Agreement and eligibility

By creating an account or using N2U, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines. You must be at least 16 and permitted to use the service where you live. You must provide truthful eligibility information and protect your account and device.

2. What N2U provides

N2U may provide approximate discovery, maps, venues, hangouts, event attendance, profile claims, reviews, crews, drops, intent matching, Arena games, encrypted communication and safety controls. Features may vary by device, region, entitlement and release. Density, distance, availability, verification and trust signals can be incomplete or delayed.

3. Offline interactions and safety

You decide whether to communicate or meet. Use judgment, meet in appropriate public places, tell someone you trust and leave any unsafe situation. Safety Capsule is a check-in aid, not monitoring, rescue, emergency dispatch or a guarantee that a trusted contact will be notified. Call local emergency services when immediate help is needed.

4. User content and limited license

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant N2U a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, reproduce, display and distribute it only as needed to operate, secure, moderate and improve the service and to honor sharing choices you make. You represent that you have the necessary rights and that your content is accurate where accuracy is required.

5. Prohibited conduct

6. Events, QR attendance, ratings and no-shows

Hosts are responsible for lawful, accurate event details and appropriate venue permission. Attendees remain responsible for their own transportation, conduct and safety. QR check-in and proximity checks are evidence signals, not perfect proof. Reviews must reflect genuine eligible interactions. The same account may review another eligible user no more than once within the configured monthly period. Repeated confirmed no-shows, including three qualifying incidents, may result in a temporary event-join restriction such as two weeks. Users may appeal moderation mistakes.

7. Arena and social games

Arena games are social entertainment. Hosts control permitted stage transitions; the server controls membership, authorization, role visibility, votes and scoring where supported. Private chat unlocks must respect mutual consent. Do not use games for gambling, prizes of real-world value, coercion, sexual pressure or targeted harassment.

8. Verification and trust signals

Badges indicate only the specific signal described, such as account sign-in, photo review or event attendance. They are not background checks, identity guarantees, endorsements, safety ratings or predictions of behavior. Reviews and aggregate ratings are user-generated opinions and may be disputed or moderated.

9. Messaging

Supported cloud chats use end-to-end encryption between participant devices. N2U does not use Bluetooth or peer-to-peer nearby messaging. Encryption does not stop recipients from retaining or sharing what they receive. You may not use encryption to conceal illegal or abusive conduct. Routing metadata and safety reports may be processed as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Moderation and enforcement

N2U may filter, reduce visibility, remove content, reject actions, preserve relevant evidence, limit features, suspend or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary for safety, integrity, legal compliance or enforcement. Reports are reviewed using context and risk signals; report volume alone is not a guaranteed automatic ban. Appeals may be available. We may cooperate with valid legal requests.

11. Subscriptions

Apple or Google processes in-app purchases. Prices, currency, trial, renewal and taxes are shown by the store before purchase. Subscriptions renew unless canceled in store settings. Deleting your N2U account does not itself cancel a store subscription. Refund eligibility is governed by the store and mandatory consumer law. Core safety, report, block and account-deletion controls are not paywalled.

12. Account deletion and termination

You may delete your account in the app. N2U may suspend or terminate access for Terms violations, legal requirements, security risk or service discontinuation. Sections that by nature should survive, including ownership, dispute, liability and lawful retention terms, remain effective.

13. Third-party services

Maps, sign-in, app stores, shared social destinations and external links are governed by their own terms. N2U is not responsible for third-party availability or conduct. A social handle or external link does not imply endorsement.

14. Availability and disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, N2U is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not promise uninterrupted access, a minimum number of nearby people, event accuracy, compatibility, successful connections, identity, conduct or outcomes. Mandatory warranties and consumer rights that cannot be excluded remain unaffected.

15. Limitation and responsibility

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, N2U is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, loss of data or opportunity, or conduct of users and third parties. Nothing excludes liability that law does not permit us to exclude, including liability arising from fraud or willful misconduct where applicable.

16. Changes, law and contact

We may change the service or these Terms and will provide required notice for material changes. Applicable mandatory consumer and privacy law remains in force regardless of these Terms. Questions: legal@n2u.app. Safety reports should use the in-app report flow or support@n2u.app.
